Coming down heavily upon District administration, particularly SSP Mughal Kishtwar, Sangersh Samiti Convenor Vikram Slathia has demanded action against those officials who remained mute spectators throughout day and delayed deployment of Army in the area despite having early inputs that communal tension may flare up. She also demanded action against SSP Kishtawr, who she said, was responsible for attack on minority and termed it conspiracy against to spread communal riots in the state and demanded reshuffle of SSP and DC.
BJP State Secretary Pawan Khajuria showing concern over incident demanded fool proof security for minority living in the area, besides a probe in the incident in which members of particular community were targeted in presence of administration and police. He said that attack has exposed leaders of majority community who deliver high speeches of secularism.
