A peace procession took out from Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) led by its president, Thakur Gulchain Sungh Charak in which prominent persons of all walks of life participated in large number.
The procession started from the office of DSS and terminated near Raj Bhawan, Jammu.
During the rally precisionists were raising slogans for maintaining communal harmony and honoring the sentiments of the people of the region and urged upon the government and members of the Sangarsh Samiti to decide about the disputed land for creating facilities for the yatries at the earliest.
They asked the Kashmiri leaders to desist from indulging in provocative utterances. A copy of the memorandum submitted to the prime minister of India is enclosed herewith. |
