| DBP Sabha appreciate role of Sangarsh Samiti | | | Early Times Reporter

The role of Shri Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti (SASS) has been appreciated by the Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) and extended its full support to it.
Addressing the members of the Sabha, its president Dev Raj Baru said, Sabha has taken a serious note some Brahmin leaders for their anti Jammu and non cooperation with samiti. He appealed to them to come out of the political fields and join the moment with Jammuites, which the community may be considered for some hard steps against them.
In the meeting Shakti Dutt Sharma, general secretary moved a resolution and appealed the government to compensate the farmers for the damage to the crops and also wave off the passenger tax to the transporters during the agitation period which was unanimously accepted.
A tribute was also paid to the martyrs who laid their lives for this noble cause. Present in the meeting were Pt. Varinder Magotra, Suresh Sharma, Bodh Raj Sharma, Gurdas Sharma, Raman Sharma and Kulbhushan Sharma. |
