Harsh concern deteriorating law, order machinery in state

Harsh Dev Singh, chief spokesperson JKNPP has expressed grave concern over the present turmoil, bloodshed and turbulence in the state and fast deterioting law and order present turmoil, bloodshed and turbulence in the state as well centre.
He said that the central government could not escape from its responsibility for the present crisis as it took almost forty days for it to intervene so as to explore the possible solution to the current imbroglio. He said the issue ought to have been settled on war footing in view of its explosive potential, but the centre did not assert till the saboteurs partially succeded in their designs of effecting polarization and communal and regional divide.
He said that the Union government was still reluctant to call the spade a spade and was still resorting to evasive approach by convening one meeting after the other without any outcome, and regretted that there was no report even after several rounds of talks of any viable or positive suggestion emanating from any quarter or participating parties which amply or positive suggestion emanating from any quarter or participating parties which amply demonstrated total imbecility and incompetence on the part of helmsmen. On the contrary, Singh said, the centre was fast falling into the trap of curtain separatists and antinational forces to hijack it for pursuing their anti-national agenda. He urged upon the prime minister to demonstrate his maturity and political sagacity on the occasion by immediate solution of the current further sabotage and disharmony.
Singh said that in resolving the issue all the parties must be apprised of the high court orders vis-à-vis the land row, which had already vested the land in question in the Amarnath Ji Shrine Board for the purpose of raising temporary structures during Yatra period.
He further expressed grave concern over deteriorating law and order situation and communal clashes that took place particularly in Kishtwar. Describing the situation as grim and alarming, he urged upon the administration to provide adequate security to the minorities and ensure the payment of immediate ex-gratia to those affected by communal violence for the loss of life and property. He appealed for communal harmony at all costs so as to defeat the nefarious designs of divisive, sectarian and communal forces who were out to vitiate peace and tranquility and to wreck an destabilize the state and the nation.
Meanwhile JKNPP relay hunger protest launched to seek diversion of land to SASB and to end discrimination with the people of Jammu has entered into 11th day today. A team of party activists comprising of Ch. Ghulam Hassan, Ch.Mohd. Ali, Shanker Singh and others led by Mr. Ghulam Ali state gen. secy, sat on hunger strike today outside party head quarter, Gandhi Nagar. They appeal to the people in general and socio political leaders in particular to maintain cool and strength the mutual brotherhood.
