National Conference leaders in a joint statement have expressed serous concern over the miserable condition of the labourers , Chaba / Rehri Walla's and other daily earners who have suffered a lot due to turmoil as they were earning their daily bread only after doing daily labour. They demanded that three months free ration along with edible and kerosene oil be given to the labourers as their families have reached at the point of starvation. National Conference leaders have urged the Union Government and the state government to wave off interest on loan of farmers, transporters and young entrepreneurs under self employment scheme and traders for one year and also condone delay in depositing bank installments as they have suffered heavily due to turmoil in the Jammu region.
