| I would love to act in Dogri movie: Urvashi | | |
Jammu Sept 7 A few days ahead of her forthcoming Bhojpuri film, “Balmaa 420”, which is slated for release on September 29 all over the country, Urvashi Choudhary, daughter of the soil who has played lead role in the film, visited here today. Addressing a press conference, Urvashi attributed her achievements to parents. She informed that her family moved to Chandigarh in the year 2000, where she contested for Miss North and stood second runner up in 2004. She also took part in Miss India 2004 and Gladrags Mega Model Contest in the same year. Thereafter she did modeling for various brands and enacted in a few song numbers in various albums. In her first movie “Retake” she acted with Aryan (nephew of Govinda) followed by other films like “Ishaq Na Karna” and a rap song with Dev Anand in the film “Mr. Prime Minister”. On a question whether she would like to work for a Dogri film she said that it would be a matter of great pride for her to promote her own mother tongue. She is also working in Kaho Na Kaho, with Jackie Shroff and has signed various other movies.
