| Induction of hockey, football players in Army | | | Early Times Reporter

A selection rally is held at ASC Centre and College, Bangalore-7 from August 20-22 for Class VII pass boys of 12-16 years of age to select players for induction into Boys Sports Company in Hockey and Football.
The selected candidates shall be given necessary amenities and facilities for sports including education up to class X. After passing class X or attaining age of 17 years 6 months the players will be given a chance to be enrolled in Army as Sepoy.
