Vikas Sharma, president, Jammu University Research Scholar’s Executive Association (JURSEA) have urged upon the governor N.N. Vohra that the vice-chancellor of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. (SMVDU) Prof. N.K. Bansal be removed from the post. Leveling charges against the VC, Sharma Prof. Bansal has compelled the employees of Jammu to leave their jobs, but give chances to outsiders. He said SMVDU authorities should give preference to Jammu people in jobs, as there is lot of unemployment. He said it is very strange that working in the campus is going as usual VC Bansal has no sympathy with the Jammu people who have launched mass agitation against the govt for genuine cause. Sharma urged upon the Governor that CBI enquiry be held against the working style of VC, as there is a huge financial bungling and misappropriation of funds. He warned that if the authorities fail to take necessary steps, JURSEA will be compelled to launch agitation against the concerned. Kamaldeep Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Jaswinder were present on the occasion. |
