Army porter dies another injured in 'mine blast' along LoC

One Army porter was died while another received splinter injuries in mine explosion near Line of Control in Mendhar town of district Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources informed NAK that two Army porters identified as Mohammad Ikhlaq son of Mohammad Rashid and Mohammad Irshad, both the residents of Nar Mankote area of tehsil Mendhar sustained injured when one of them with 2/8 Gorkha Rifles accidentally stepped on a mine near LoC this morning.
Sources further informed that both of them were shifted to nearby hospital where one Mohammad Ikhlaq succumbed to his splinter injuries and another was battling between life and death.
It was reliably learnt that the porters who were working with Army since long back were well versed with the topography of the area and stepping on mine is suspicious. The reason according to sources could be some thing in between their civil relations.
