| PWD official beaten to pulp, DIG orders inquiry | | | Early Times Reporter Kishtwar | Aug 14
An official of Public works department was beaten to pulp by the security guards of Assistant Commissioner Revenue (Kishtwar) after the former refused to spare his official vehicle to him. Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that Executive engineer R&B Radha Krishan rains who had gone to attend the meeting in Deputy commissioners officer in connection with the I Day celebrations was asked by the ACR Rajesh Kumar to spare his vehicle for 15 August which he refuses. The PWD official asked him to send him written order and more ever he also needs vehicle for his official work. The ACR according to sources asked his guards to stop the vehicle who beaten him to pulp. Sources said the official went to DIG who is camping in Kishtwar and narrated the whole story. DIG ordered inquiry besides lodging an FIR against the security guards of the ACR CRPF personnel who thrashed the official. It was reliably learnt that the ACR had earlier sealed the office of the AE PDD after he refused to oblige him for some work. When contacted the ACR Rajesh Kumar told NAK that he simply asked the security guards to stop the vehicle and claimed that had issued a written order to the official. |
