Don’t delay anymore
8/14/2008 10:54:36 PM
Situation is grave as protests refuse to die down. The agitation started with the dispute of Amarnath Shrine Board land is now giving rise to mutual hatred. As a result the separatists are taking advantage of this situation. It may be noted that the Kashmir Fruit Growers Association, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Traders Federation, Huriyat Conference and PDP had given the call to march towards Muzzaffarabad on Monday. As regards economic blockade, the situation is confusing. Protestors aligning with Amarnath land dispute say that there is no blockade as such. Whereas, according to the other party, the movement of ration and other commodities is not coming to Jammu. The fact is that when tension erupts normal supplies always get disturbed. It is true that the situation in Jammu is no good than Srinagar and other parts of the State. The situation prevailing in Jammu & Kashmir is dreadful. The state is completely disturbed and in this political dilemma tension is continuously increasing between Jammu and Kashmir. Not only the separatists are taking advantage of this situation but the neighbouring countries having a bad eye on Kashmir, have got a good chance. All these activities somewhere indicate towards a deep conspiracy. Pakistan has always raised the question of Kashmir at international fora. ISI has only one target and that is spreading hatred in India. Should we keep silence in such a situation? In fact the vote politics is also behind the disturbances. Parties would have to forsake their vested interests and work out an amicable solution. Even a little bit delay is not in favour of the country.
