The Jammu Joint churches forum have leveled charges against the Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal and other anti social elements who are harassing Christian priests at Kathua, Rajouri and Arnia in Jammu region for the last couple of days.
According to press release a priest was taken out into custody at Vijaypur and was beaten by the police. It shows police is in hand glove with anti social elements foe harassing innocent priests. According to press release anti-social element have leveled false allegations against the priests, who are god-fearing persons and never involved in any such activities, which will bring bad name to the community. They have appealed the authorities to provide protection to priests. A memorandum has submitted to the Divisional Commissioner with the request that it may be passed on the Governor and chief information.
