The Department of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) has been geared up to ensure uninterrupted supply of food grains to all ration depots in Kashmir valley. In this connection, measures have been taken to dispatch adequate number of trucks to all depots. Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir has appealed the general public to allow free movement of trucks and tankers carrying essential commodities, petrol, diesel, Kerosene oil and LPG so that the trucks reach safely to various ration depots and destinations in the valley. People have also been asked to register the complaint, if any, with regard to shortage of ration to the Director CAPD, Kashmir on phone numbers, 0194-2455019 and 9419035659. |
