Asks DCs to clear pending departmental land transfer cases

JAMMU, Sept 8: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today held a video conference meeting with Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division to review the progress on identification of government land along National Highways for construction of public toilet complexes. It was informed that the district administrations have identified land for construction of toilet complexes along National Highway and the process of transfer of the same to the concerned departments is on.
The Div Com asked the DCs to send the list of identified locations and latest status to his office. The Divisional Commissioner also reviewed the land transfer to various departments pending at various stages in the districts.
The Div Com asked DCs to establish contacts with officers of concerned departments and clear all pending land transfer cases of departments in the districts.
Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner also reviewed the arrangements to facilitate candidates appearing in NEET examination 2020.
He directed the district administrations to ensure smooth transportation of the candidates.
The Officers of National Testing Agency were asked to share the list of candidates appearing in NEET examination with the concerned DCs so that adequate arrangements for their smooth transportation could be made.
The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Jammu, Assistant Commissioner Central, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Officers of NTA while all other Deputy Commissioners participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
