Reasi, Sept 8: On second day of ongoing the District Level Inter Zonal Cricket Tournament at the General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium Reasi in which the teams of all Zones i.e. Reasi, Pouni, Arnas, Chassana and Mahore were participated.
The District Team will be selected on basis of performance during the tournament and same team will represent the district at divisional/state level competition.
Subash Chander Sharma, DYSSO Reasi was the chief guest in the final match of under 17 boys and the match was played between Chassana and Reasi Zone. Reasi won the toss and elected to bat first. Reasi Zone won the match by 11 runs.
Batting first Reasi scored 68 runs, Ajay Patel scored 19 runs and Vandit scored 9 runs .
For Chassana Zone, Narotam Singh & Shaqoor took 3wkts & 2 wkts respectively. Batting second Chassana didnot chase the target in stipulated over.
Fir Chassana, Qurban Ali & Shaqoor scored 25 & 13 runs respectively.
For Reasi, Shravan took 4 wickets.
