Jan-Abhiyan: DDC Doda discusses modalities for effective implementation of public campaign

DODA, Sept 8: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of District officers here to discuss the modalities for effective implementation of Jan-Abhiyan (Pre-B2V3).
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma; Chief Planning Officer, Parshotam Kumar; ACR, Kaiser Ahmed Bhawani; DPO, Mohammad Idrees Lone; BDO Bhalla, Phulail Singh Bandhral; TO to Ex En, Jal Shakti Doda (PHE) Er Fayaz Mehta and other concerned officials.
While discussing the modalities for smooth conduct of Jan-Abhiyan, the DDC said that the campaign will start from September 10 and last till Oct 1, 2020 in all the seventeen Blocks of the district. “The 21 day long Jan Abhiyan will lead to the build up to the actual B2V3 program” he said.
It was decided in the meeting that the administration will hold a three-week Pre-Back to Village Jan Abhiyan/Block Diwas which will be organized from September 10 to September 30 and will have three components.
“The three components will be the redressal of public grievances (Jan Sunvaiyee), public service delivery (Adhikar Abhiyan) and delivery of development at Gram Panchayat level (Unat Gram Abhiyan).
While highlighting the Pre-B2V-3 programme, he said that Yaum-e-Block would be observed for three consecutive weeks at pre-designated location or at block headquarters on every Wednesday in coordination with the relevant officers.
The DDC directed that on the day all departmental functionaries shall be available at notified places in the block with all supporting staff as equipment to ensure immediate, on the spot disposal of applications, redress and documentation of grievances and to ensure that public does not face harassment due to unavailability or unresponsiveness of any government functionary,” he added.
He directed the planning department to devise the monitoring formats, check lists of the beneficiary schemes pertaining to all the departments well before the commencement of the Jan Abhiyan/Block Diwas, so that the activities carried out during the schedule date and Time are properly assessed.
The DDC said that he will visit each and every Block of the district during the Jan Abhiyan/Block Diwas and will take the first hand appraisal of all the activities which shall be carried out by the departments.
