| Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan: DIC Ramban organises awareness event | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Sept 8: An awareness program for the local youth was today organized by District Industries Centre (DIC), Ramban regarding “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan” initiatives for promotion of entrepreneurship and revival of MSME sector.
General Manager, DIC, Vishwa Jeet apprised the participants that the government has announced various schemes to mitigate the problems faced by the entrepreneurs, especially in MSME sector due to COVID-19 Pandemic. He said that there is a need to be price competitive and focus on quality of products by the private sector. “It will not only cater to domestic needs but also make possible export of the products, which is the fundamental objective of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan” he said. The resource persons including Functional Manager DIC sensitized the unemployed youth at Maitra, Ramban and Kundi village about Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme, registration under Udhyam and various other schemes being implemented by the department for the promotion of industry besides generating employment opportunities for locals.
