| Taekwondo team leaves for Junior Nationals | | | Early Times Reporter

Under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association, 13-member state team left for the 28th National Junior Taekwondo Championship to be held at Pondicherry from August 22 to August 24 under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association (JKTA), here today.
The contingent is comprised of two coaches, two managers and nine officials. Diploma holder in Taekwondo from NIS, Atul Pangotra is accompanying the team as technical official (referee). Atul has been invited to act as technical official by the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) for a record eighth time, a separate handout issued by the Association informed.
Earlier, the team was flagged off by president of the JKTA, P C Sharma and organizing secretary, D N Pangotra wishing the players success
The team: Boys: Nitin (Katra), Ankush (Jammu), Adnan Beig (Jammu), Arjun Jandyal (Jammu) and Mohd Bhat (Srinagar). Ramesh Kumar (coach) and Rocky (manager).
Girls: Mansi (Udhampur), Kamini (Kathua) and Mukta Gupta (Jammu). Sandeep Bansal (coach) and Shagun Gupta (manager). |
