| Army steps up vigil in Chamba (HP) | | | Early Times Reporter

Intelligence reports as well as media reports, have of late, indicated possible intention of terrorist groups to sneak into Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. Pressurised by counter terrorist operations of the Army, in the neighbouring districts of J&K, the terrorists may sneak into Chamba to look for safe sanctuaries. The Army has undertaken steps to pre-empt such possible terrorist movement into the pristine Himachal territory and has increased vigil along the roads and interiors in Chamba District in conjunction with other security forces deployed in the area. |
