The JKNPP chief spoke person Harsh Dev Singh has urged upon the Prime Minister DR. Manmohan Singh to ensure immediate diversion of land in favor of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board and save bleeding state and its people from further deaths and devastation As per press release, he said that the entire sate was smoldering and the situation is required to be addressed on war footing. He said that a beginning in the present circumstances was required to be made by dousing the Jammu fires by fulfilling the aspirations of Jammu people. He said that the wisest course in the present circumstances was to take the nationalist and patriotic Jammu people into confidence by immediate diversion of land in question to Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board so that peace was restored in Jammu region and co- operation of nationalist forces was achieved to face the on-slaughter of the subversive and antinational forces. He said land diversion could be fallowed by initiating of dialogue with the Kashmir groups for resolution of resultant crises in Kashmir valley. Harsh urged upon the Prime Minister to demonstration statesmanship and political sagacity and to act promptly as inseparable damaged had been caused due to lack-luster and apathetic attitude of the union government which allowed the situation to deteriorate for around forty days before finally intervening to evolve a solution. He regretted that even now the union government was dragging its feet and only convening one meeting after the other without any tangible results. Singh also sought immediate acceptance of the land acceptance of the demand of the Jammuites regarding land transfer. He also flayed the secessionist propaganda unleashed in the Kashmir Valley by subversive and antinationalist elements that were out to dis-integrate the National. He said that there could be no compromise with respect to the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the nation while antinational forces were required to be dealt with firmly in accordance with the law of the land. |
