The ‘Afghan Mohalla Welfare Society’ (AWMS) have extended full support to Shri Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti, in achieving its goal in restoring land to Shri Amarnath shrine Board. In a meeting chaired by its general secretary, B.M. Dubey, members discussed the prevailing situation in the region, arised due to strike call given by Sangarsh Samiti (SS). He said both state and central governments have turn deaf ear towards the genuine problem being faced by Jammuites, but on the other hand provide all sort of facilities to Kashmiries, through being anti-nationalist, raising anti-India slogans, during the national flag at various places across the valley. Executive members of family have collocated from financially sound residents of locality to distribute ration and other food materials among the needy and the persons living below the poverty line in the periphery of Mohalla and its adjoining areas victinity without color, caste and creed. Distribution of team is formed which is headed by Hakim Sardari Lal Sajgotra organizer of the society. Four hundred families which are in dire need of help due to present crisis have been identified. Every such family will be provided 10 Kgs Atta, 1 Kg Sugar, 1 Kg Salt, ½ Kg two kinds of Dal, Tea Patti, half Kg Mustard oil and bathing soap. However Afghana Mohalla Welfare Society is thankful to Er. Vidhi Singh Jamwal Chairman-cum-Managing trustee, Jamwal Group of Educational institutions along with other donor members who are helping the AWMS in the region. |
