| Efforts are being made to sabotage agitation: BAJ | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 17
The Bar Association, Jammu (BAJ) have appealed to general masses to remain aware of those anti-national forces, who are bent upon to weaken the on going agitation. Addressing the members of BAJ, its general secretary, Pawan Kumar Manni, in a meeting which he chaired said, every attempt is being made to weaken the agitation, which is being fought for the genuine cause. He appealed to all the districts and tehsil bar association of Jammu province be united and ensure unity and maintain communal harmony, and added this movement is launched by the people irrespective of political and irreligious affiliations, and as such support the genuine cause of the Sangarsh Samiti. Association also took strong note of the call of separatists and fundamentalist forces of Kashmir for pressurizing the govt, employees to leave Kashmir and termed it as a deliberate attempt on the part of separatist’s leaders and Kashmir centric politicians. BAJ appealed to the state as well as centre administration to take immediate steps to provide and ensure security and safety to all working in the valley and also demanded stern action against the persons responsible for threatening the people. The meeting was attended by Advocate Sandeep Singh, Ajay Singh Manhas, Rajesh Thappa, Ranjit Singh Jamwal, Ashok Mishra, Puneet Kolhi, M.P. Singh (Palli), Piyush Gupta, Vikukash Anand and Vinay Sharma. |
