The Administration has appealed the people not to pay any heed to rumours spread by some elements out to vitiate the atmosphere here.
A Spokesman of the Divisional Administration here has requested the people not to lend their ear to rumours as these are aimed at creating confusion and vitiating the atmosphere. He asked them to cross check any rumour with the Police Control Room before passing it on to others. He said that the movement of load carriers on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway is going on smoothly and essential supplies and fuel carrying trucks and tankers are arriving here daily. Likewise, he said the fruit and vegetables are also being dispatched on daily basis through the National Highway to Jammu and onwards. |
