Rafiq express concern over the fate of daily wagers

Lok Jan Shakti Party (LJSP) president Rafiq Malik has expressed his serious anxiety over the fate of daily wagers of various departments who due to curfews and other problems in the region are not able to join their duties.
Rafiq has urged the administration that the period be not be treated as break, but he paid wages as they have no fault. In a press statement issued here today, he said it has come to the notice of party that some HOD’s have marked them absent, as they were not in a position of attend the office.
Meanwhile, he appealed the authorities to confirm the jobs of Health and Medical Department daily wagers who have been rendering yeoman in service in providing health care to the people in the present circumstances.
Referring to the ongoing agitation over Amarnath land row, Malik reiterated that LJSP supports the cause and appealed the Sangarsh Samiti to hold protests and dharnas outside the Parliament house in Delhi to pressurize the centre to listen to the demands of the masses of Jammu region.
