Challenging Modi’s credibility can prove suicidal for opposition: Kavinder
9/22/2020 11:58:43 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Sept 22: Hitting out hard the opposition leaders who on and off question the functioning of BJP and its leaders’ intention to ensure welfare of people, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Tuesday asserted that governance model of BJP is most efficient and is moving in the direction to usher new era of progress in the entire country in general and in J&K in particular.
In a statement issued here, the BJP stalwart said that the way BJP has fulfilled its promises in J&K with regard to issues like scrapping provisions of Article 370, providing relief to PoK refugee families, delivering justice to West Pakistan Refugees, Gorkhas, etc, ensuring rights to daughters of erstwhile J&K State, giving all possible help to border shelling affected people and extending all the central laws in J&K UT besides eliminating the supremacy of separatists, terror mongers and their overt and covert sympathizers, one can say with pride that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s model of governance is flawless and if given another term, he will steer the country to pinnacle of development with no scope left for poverty, illiteracy or any other kind of dearth which the country persistently faced in the last over 60 years when the unprincipled political party was in power.
Citing armed forces successive success stories in the Kashmir Valley with regard to combating terrorism, he said that it was PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah who gave free hand to security forces to ably tackle the scourge of violence which gripped the region due to myopic policies of Congress leaders at various instants of time in the past.
“There is no match to PM Modi who never shirked to even bombard terror camps deep inside Pakistan to carry out his nationalistic pursuits and challenging his credibility will prove suicidal for opposition leaders. It is rather advisable for the entire opposition to take refuge under his realms and work in tandem to ensure speedy welfare of people”, he maintained.
