Kinnars warn centre, to intensify agitation in Jammu

More than two dozen Kinnars on Wednesday lead the protest march in wazarat road area and courted arrest along with large number of children,men and women in Peer mitha police post demanding restoration of forest land to the Amarnath shrine board.
Prominent citizens of the area also participated in the protest march and courted arrest along with Kinnars. Senior advocate DS Chauhan also courted arrest.
On the occasion a senior Jammu based Kinnar warned the state and the centre government against taking people of Jammu for a ride.
"The Kinnar community from all over the country would arrive in Jammu and take part in the ongoing agitation", Jammu based Kinnars announced.
The ongoing agitation would continue and would be intensified if in the coming days the centre would fail to resolve the issue of Amarnath land transfer and restore the land to the Amarnath shrine boar,Kinnars said.
