Army and police claimed to have busted militant hideout and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition in general area Loharki (Barak) in Reasi district.
Defence Spokesman Lt Col SD Goswami told News Agency of Kashmir on specific information, the troops of 54 Rashtriya Rifles (MADRAS) under the aegis of 163 Infantry Brigade, Uniform Force and JK Police busted a hideout in general area Loharki (Barak) in Reasi district of J&K, today.
"The hideout was in a cave and 14 Chinese Hand grenades, one Chinese Pistol, four RPG rounds, four RPG boosters, 4 kgs explosives (Pakistan origin), seven Remote Control IED mechanism, 11 IED receivers, four magazines, huge quantity of assorted ammunitions and other warlike stores were recovered" Goswami added. |
