| Chaman fears Hindu exodus in Kishtwar, Doda | | | Early Times Reporter

Alleging the administration has lost its grip over the districts of Kishtwar and Doda, senior BJP leader Chaman Lal Gupta today said Hindu minorities here fear for their security and may migrate if conditions do not improve soon.
"What militants could not do to make these areas a liberated zone, the administration has," Gupta said. The authorities have disarmed youth who wanted to fight militants and withdrawn security from vulnerable areas, he said.
The former Union Minister of State for Defence sought a judicial probe into the killing of two persons in Kishtwar on August 12. He accused Congress of patronising the Jamat-e-Islami during the 1971 elections. |
