| Niaz receives Mani Mahesh yatra devotees | | | Early Times Reporter

Former Minister and sitting MLC Mohammad Sharief Niaz along with local Muslim leaders accorded a rousing reception to 2000 devotees of Man Mahesh Yatra, who are on their way to Chamba area of Himachal Pradesh.
Niaz along with other locals gathered at Kalgoni temple in Bhalesa area and arranged a langer for the devotees. After serving them refreshments, Niaz accompanied the devotees towards Goha top near Himachal Pradesh border.
Addressing the devotees, Niaz asked them to pray for lasting peace in Jammu and Kashmir as the state was passing through crucial time and need of the hour was to strengthen brotherhood and communal harmony.
Mani Mahesh Yatra is commencing from August 24. A large number of devotees from Doda district are participating in this annual pilgrimage. |
