Jammu, Sept 28: Colonel SS Pathania, (Retd), President Sainik Samaj Party (SSP), JKUT expressed his deep anguish and concern over rapidly rising cases corona and deaths occurring as a fall out. Pathania urged Lt. Guv and union government to address this issue on priority by constituting appropriate measures, well in time before a catastrophe sets in. It is in public domain that requisite medical infrastructure has been totally collapsed, and unless revived on emergency basis, lot many valuable lives will be lost.
Social media is abuzzed, with shortage of doctors, beds, oxygen, ventilators and para medic staff, resulting in acute hardship of corona patients and their relatives. Jammu district posing highest number of patients in entire UT, is clearly indicating the gloom spread out. Lt Guv is requested to look into following issues. A team from Delhi must visit Jammu province and give their recommendations, after assesing the situation on ground. |
