Zone Gandhi Nagar lifts U/17 yrs boys cricket final title

Jammu, Sept 30: Additional District Development Commissioner Jammu, Rakesh Dubey, inaugurated U/14 Yrs Boys Cricket tournament and closing ceremony of U/17 Yrs Boys Cricket today at Khel Gaon Nagrota Jammu.
The inaugural ceremony took place at Khel Gaon Nagrota where in Rakesh Dubey Additional, District Development Commissioner, Jammu was the chief Guest and the guest of honour was presented by Sukh Dev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu.
Earlier, the tournament of U/17 yrs Boys was under process today and concluded as Zone Gandhi Nagar outplayed Zone Jammu in the final today. While the tournaments are organized by District Jammu under the Chairmanship of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K and under the overall supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu. The Chief Guest interacted with champs and advised them to play the game within rules and regulations and achieve all the components of physical fitness. The main aim of the tournament is to select the best players for next level of tournament coming ahead. Convener Anju Gupta, ZPEO Marh along with ZPEO Gandhi Nagar Chander Kanta, Incharge Activity Ram Murti, Vijay Kumar Sharma, B K Bhat, S. Ravinder Singh, and Technical Officials Mohd. Farooq, Sat Paul Singh, Jagtar Singh, Swati, Satika, Mukesh Sharma, Suresh Singh, Honey Mehra, Anil Sharma, Vikram Dogra and other officials of the Department, District Jammu were present at the venue.
