Additional Sessions Judge Jammu, MA Choudhary today granted anticipatory bail to Fateh Singh Jasrotia Director Sanik Cooperative Housing Society (SCHS) Jammu, one of the alleged accused in much publicized land scam at Sunjwan.
Crime Branch had registered a case on July 17, 2008 u/s 420/247/120-B RPC in which the complainant submitted that he is the owner in possession of land measuring 60 Kanals 10 Marlas situated at Village Sunjawan Tehsil Jammu.
Apprehending his arrest by the Crime Branch Fateh Singh Jasrotia filed an anticipatory bail application in the court.
Disposing off the bail application, the Additional Sessions Judge directed the Additional Public Prosecutor to file a detailed police report and objection if any for which the APP sought time which was granted by the court. However, keeping in view the emergent nature of the matter, the Court directed that in the event of the arrest of the petitioner he shall be released on furnishing personnel and bail bond to the tune of Rs 10,000 each with certain other directions.
