Convener, state forum for justice and Human Rights, Dr. Kulwant Singh has expressed serious concern over some incidents of violence and burning of vehicles by miscreants during the on-going peaceful agitation for the restoration of land to SASB.
He said such incidents can weaken otherwise peaceful agitation launched by the people and to the hardship faced by the people by the imposition of frequent curfews.
Singh has appealed to the people to remain peaceful and also remain vigilant against those elements who are bent upon to weaken the movement and appealed to the people to remain united and maintain communal harmony at all costs. He has also made a strong plea to the government of India to concede to the justifies demand of the people for the restoration of land to SASB without further delay to put an end to the present turmoil
