| JKNPP hunger strike entered day 20 | | | Early Times Reporter

The chain hunger strike launched by the JKNPP following the end of fast unto death by Prof. Bhim Singh in support of land in favor of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board entered day 20th day today. Those who sat on the hunger strike today included Lal Singh Nag, Siddarth Singh, Sanjay Singh, Avtar Singh, Vijay Singh and Suraj Pratap Singh.
The strike is led by Nag urged upon the governor to take immediate action against the functionaries who are not attending to public problems in the present crisis. He demanded that the state and the central government should take immediate decision to resolve the issue of handling over the land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. He also appealed to public in general to maintain mutual brotherhood and identity of the all those elements are bent to disturb the communal harmony. |
