| 609 load carriers with essentials, fuel enter Valley during past 24 hours | | | Early Times Reporter

As many as 609 load carriers with essentials and fuel entered the Valley during the last 24 hours up to 2 pm today. These include, 158 laden with rice, 55 with flour, 37 with sugar, 22 with sheep, 19 with chicken and 29 with fresh fruit. Besides, 40 tankers with diesel, 28 with kerosene oil, 25 with petrol, 22 with LPG and 3 with milk also arrived here during this period. Another 162 trucks loaded with other commodities and 9 empty trucks after off loading the goods outside the Valley also arrived in the same period.
Giving these details, a spokesman of the divisional administration said here that as many as 367 trucks and tankers departed from Valley towards different destinations outside Kashmir during past 24 hours up to 2 pm today. These include, 89 trucks loaded with fresh fruit, 18 with vegetables, 37 with other commodities besides 223 empty tankers returned after off loading fuel and milk here. |
