| BMS demands regularization of daily wagers | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 24
Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), Jammu unit have urged upon the state government that all daily wagers with seven years of service be regularise immediately. While addressing the workers BMS president, Nand Kishore Sharma said, the pay discrimination with Jammu based daily wagers he removed and should be paid with their counter parts in Kashmir, and he given all benefit as per rules. He also demanded that the minimum wages should be raised and implemented in all the industries of the state and added services of Anganwari workers be also regularised. Gupta also demanded that the recommendation of sixth pay commission be implemented before Diwali, through there are many short coming in the report. Among others present in the meeting were Harbans Choudhary, Som Dass and Ashok Chowdhary. |
