| APMCC condemns Mehboobas statement | | | Early Times Reporter

All Party Migrant Coordination Committee (APMCC) chairman Vinod Pandit has strongly condemned the recent press conference of Mehbooba Mufti in which she openly threatened of disintegrating Indian nation on the issue of Amarnath land controversy notwithstanding the fact that she is the member of the Indian Parliament.
In a statement Vinod Pandit has said that Mehbooba Mufti must be arrested immediately under Public Safety Act for her anti-national utterances adding it was the weak Indian political class that has emboldened such separatists’ elements to move freely under the garb of politicians.
Taking serious note of the threat that India should chose between Shrine Board and Kashmir Vinod challenged Mehbooba to first resign from Lok Sabha and then join the Hurriyat Conference before making such statements.
Vinod said that Kashmir belongs to Kashmiri Pandits adding separatists’ or Mehbooba was nobody to decide the fate of the Kashmir.
Taking a dig at Mehbooba for the so called love for Kashmir forestland Vinod said that her father had violated many forest rules by ordering the construction of many parks and golf course on forest land without caring a fig for the ecology of the state.
Vinod said that such forest land was shown as non-forest land to divert it for use other than forest activity.
Citing a few examples he said such forest land was diverted for Srinagar Golf Course known as Salim Ali Park, Zabarwan Hills, High Altitude National Park Kishtwar, High Altitude Pir Panchal National Park on Rajouri-Poonch Road and so many others which are still under wraps.
Demanding a clarification from PDP to clear their stand on their nationalism because their recent statements have created a lot of confusion among the public as on the one side Mehbooba was representing Kashmir in Lok Sabha on the other hand she was talking of secession adding both things can not go hand in hand.
Vinod said that her statements must be an eye opener for the public as well as Government of India ad she should be arrested under Public Safety Act.
Vinod while reiterating his support to Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti ((SAYSS) for its struggle to restore not only the land but also the pride of Jammu and appreciated it for meticulous planning for the agitation for the last two months. |
