| Dasmunsi to look into reports of scribes being injured | | | New Delhi | Aug 25
Amid reports of two photojournalists being roughed by security forces in Srinagar, Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi today said that he would look into the matter.
"I will speak to the Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and inquire into the incident," he told reporters on the sidelines of a book release function here, when asked to comment on the incident.
"I have always condemned any attack on the media," he added.
The two photojournalists were injured after they were roughed up by security forces in Srinagar while discharging their professional duties earlier in the day. |
