| BJP criticises PDP for opposing transfer of land to SASB | | | New Delhi | Aug 25
BJP today criticised PDP for opposing the transfer of land even temporarily to Amarnath Shrine Board, terming it as "separatist statement."
"While the political set-up of the country is engaged in finding a solution to the Amarnath row, people like Mehbooba Mufti are airing views in support of the separatists. What right does she have to say that any compromise on the issue is unacceptable," party vice-president Muqtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters here today.
"The rightful place for people like her is not the political arena but they should be behind bars on charges of anti-national activity," he told reporters here.
Reacting to the ongoing talks between the Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti and governor's appointed four-member panel, Mehbooba Mufti had yesterday said that "any unilateral agreement" arising out of the talks was unacceptable for Kashmir.
Mufti is using article 370 to further fan the passion of separatism, Naqvi alleged. |
