All Jammu and Kashmir Graduate Engineers Association has shown deep concern over the safety and security of minority employees posted at different places in Kashmir and has demanded early transfer of all those till the situation is brought to normal A meeting of All Jammu and Kashmir Graduate Engineers Association was held in Udhampur which was presided over by district president Anil Gupta . Speaking in the meeting Er. Anil. Gupta, demanded that all the graduate engineers of Jammu division who have been posted in Kashmir division should immediately be transferred back to Jammu and if sufficient no. of vacancies are not available,due to the security concern He added that they should be attached with their respective chief engineers, in view of prevailing law and order situation in the valley. He said in view of ongoing tension in the state it is impossible to perform their duties in valley as they are facing threat to their life. He added that government has failed to protect employees serving in valley and many officers have been beaten up and official vehicles belonging to different engineering departments have also been burnt/damaged He further stated that as and when the law and order situation becomes conducive these engineers agreed to work at their original place of postings.Prominent among those who attended meeting were Er.Janak Sharma, K.C.gupta,Sunil paba,Suresh Bhatri,Arun gupta,Subash Chander,Kiran gupta.
