JAMMU, Oct, 23: Reacting strongly to the threats being received by the Hindu Sant Samaj Community, the leaders of the Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K unit appealed to the Jammu and Kashmir administration to strengthen the security of the Sant Samaj.
Shiv Sena leaders led by party UT President, Manish Sahni met revered saint Sahil Maharaj to discuss about the threats being received and ensuring security for the Sant Samaj. Sahni said that threatening the Sant Samaj will not be tolerated at all. He said that the venerable Bal Sant Sahil Maharaj told him that the campaign he is carrying out for the upliftment of Hinduism, social welfare and maintaining mutual brotherhood, perhaps the active separatist forces across the border are not able to digest it. "There are constant attempts to threaten and intimidate them via phone calls," Sahni said and added that Sahil Maharaj has given full information about the bullying to Jammu and Kashmir Police and Administration, but no security has been provided to him till now. Sahni appealed to the Jammu and Kashmir Police not to take the safety of saints lightly and said that the police administration has never been serious about the safety of Hindu leaders in J&K, "Regarding the safety of saints who end social evils. Inattention will not be tolerated," he said.
