DC Ramban reviews functioning of CSC & AADHAAR centers

RAMBAN, Oct, 23: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan chaired a meeting to discuss the modalities for strengthening the Common Service Centers (CSC)s to enable general masses to avail the Portal Based Service benefits in the district.
CMO, Dr, Freed Ahmed Bhat, ARTO, Shafkat Ahmed, AD, FCS & PD, Nasir Ahmed Butt, district officers, CSC and AADHAAR centre operators attended the meeting.
The DDC reviewed the functioning of centers functional in the district and stressed upon the Education and Social welfare departments and other service provider agencies to gear- up the efforts to open more centers in far-flung areas of the district.
The DDC said that opening of more CSCs and AADHAAR centers would help to widen the reach for on-line services for procuring Aadhar Cards including corrections in them, Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards, Domicile Certificates, PAN cards, pensions, scholarships, driving licenses, job and examination forms, ration cards, which is a common demand raised by the people of different blocks during the B2V3 and My Town, My Pride' programmes.
The DDC directed the Center Operators to work in an organized manner and form a regulatory body for bringing effectiveness in the working. He stressed upon them to desist from overcharging and delay in service delivery to avoid any action.
