| Samiti gets Rs 75,000 donation from Karan Nagar | | | Early Times Reporter

The Karan Nagar unit of Sangarsh Samiti (SS) donated Rs. 75, 000/- to Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti at a function held today at Karan Nagar. The amount was handed over to Shri Leela Karan Sharma, convener SAYSS, for Shaheed Fund. The function was attended by Krishan Ji Anand, members of the SAYSS, office bearers of Karan Nagar Sangarsh Samiti (Sanjay Sharma, Bhagwan Dass, Tej Krishan Koul, B.B. Gupta, U.K. Handoo, Achala Verma, Sushma Jamwal, Suneet Raina & Prof. N.N. Sharma) and residents of Karan Nagar.
Leela Karan with accepting the donation expressed his sincere thanks to the residents of Karan Nagar for lending their active support to the movement and for the contribution towards the shaheed fund. The Karan Nagar SS has started Langer from 23rd Aug at Amphalla Chowk for the needy who are badly affected by the continuous curfew and the prevailing situation.
Besides this the Karan Nagar Sangarsh Samiti has also distributed 300 packets of dry ration to the deserving residents of Karan Nagar, Mohalla Ustad, Amphalla, New Plot and Rahari. |
