Mayor JMC inaugurates Ayush medical camp

Jammu, Oct 23: Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta today inaugurated an Ayush camp at Government Middle School Munshi Chak of ward no.32. The camp was presided over by Satpal Karlupia Councillor of the ward and was organized by representative of Gandhi Global family namely Dr. S.P Verma and others, Rajesh Saini, Satish Salaria, Arun Dubey, Lovkesh Gondhi, S. Upkar Singh, Puneet Mahajan and other prominent inhabitants of the locality as well as madam Sukhveer Kour, Principal of Govt Middle school Munshi Chak and other staff members were also present there.
Proper medical check up of the locals / participants was conducted by the doctors of Indian System of medicine department besides distributing Ayush Medicines for immunity boosting to the inhabitants.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor told the General Public to adopt Ayurvedic a habit for healthy living in this period of crises arisen due to COVID_19 pandemic and take full benefits from these type of Ayush Camps being organized in their localities time to time. Later, Mayor in presence of Advocate Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billowaria Chairperson Public Health & Sanitation Committee, Sh. Vinay Gupta Jammu District President BJP, Sh Anil Kumar Councilor of ward no: 68, Sh Raj Kumar Councilor of ward no: 51 also inaugurated the commissioning of open air GYM alongwith requisite number of equipments in a park situated at Greater Kailash Area Jammu of ward no: 68. Mayor alongwith Madam Sharda kumari Councilor of ward no.47 also kick started the Black Topping work from Press Morh, Bahu Fort & its adjoining areas. Mayor said that during the recent rainy season, the road leading to Maha Kali Mata Mandir Bahu fort has been partially damaged and the locals as well as devotees were facing great hardships. Rajesh Augustham, Assistant Executive Engineer, Sh Rajesh Sharma Junior Engineer PWD as well as other prominent inhabitants of the locality also accompanied the Mayor.
