| NBP condoles demise of Baldev Singh | | Urge Governor to transfer land to SASB | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 26
National Bahujan Party(NBJ), led by Dr. Sat Paul, has condoled the sad demise of late veteran leader and former MP, Thakur Baldev Singh, who passed away here yesterday. The party in an emergent meeting convened here today recalled the qualities of the former leader and conveyed its sympathies with the bereaved family. The meeting also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Expressing its anxiety over the present turmoil in the state, the NBP has appealed the state Governor and the Central government to immediately transfer 800 kanals of land to the Shrine Board and restore peace and normalcy in the state. The party has also appealed the people, across the state, to shun violence and hatred for the overall good of the state. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Krishan Basotra, Puran Chand, Chuni Lal Dhiman, Kulbushan Kumar, Sagar Chand, R L Jharngal, Kuldeep Singh, Surinder Sharma, Harinder Singh Randhawa and Hans Raj. |
