J&K National Conference has expressed deep concern about the militant infiltration in Kanachack which is a sub-urban border area of Jammu and then the attack by the infiltrated militants in Chinore which has resulted in four casualties. Ajay Sadhotra, Provincial President of the party while addressing a party meeting here today said the evil designs of the neighboring country need to be unitedly fought by all the nationalist forces of Jammu. The meeting among others was attended by Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Talib Hussain, Mirza Abdul Rashid, Tarlochan Singh Wazir, Devender Singh Rana, Chander Mohan Sharma, Mahinder Gupta, Satpal Lakhotra, Gurdeep Singh Sassan, Jugal Mahajan, Kashmira Singh, Vinod Bhalla and Shyam Mehra . Sadhotra also appreciated the decision of the Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti to call off the Parade Rally in view of the militant threat to the city. The party urged the government to track down all the militants who have infiltrated into Jammu. They said time has come when all the people of Jammu region must be vigilant and work together to face the mischief, perpetuated by the neighboring country. The meeting also unanimously resolved to urge the state government that in view of the situation which has arisen today they should immediately get into a dialogue with the Sangarsh Samiti and find an amicable and respectable early solution to the land row. |
