11 agitators released on bail

Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Mr. JR Kotwal today granted interim-bail to Ankush Verma and Rajesh, who were arrested by the Nowabad police under FIR 132/08 u/s 435/353/341/336/147/148/149 RPC in connection with setting ablaze a police truck on Jammu-Aknoor road.
Court granted interim-bail with the direction that the petitioners be released on their furnishing bail bond and personal bond to the tune of Rs 25000. This interim is valid up to September 2, 2008. In the meanwhile, the 3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Mr. Sanjay Gupta also granted interim bail in favour of Sunil Kumar, Kuldeep Dubey, Sonu Kumar, Vinod Kumar s/o Janak Parshad, Vinod Kumar s/o Tirloki Raj, Jugal Kishore, Des Raj, Pritam Lal and Sat Pal Sharma, who were allegedly involved in the same FIR and same offences. The court directed to release the petitioners from the custody after they furnish bail bond and personal bond to the tune of Rs 30,000 each. JNF
