The District Magistrate has extended the imposition of Section 144 Cr. PC, banning assembly of five or more persons, initially imposed for a period of two months, for another period of one month in view of the prevailing circumstances.
In the meantime, the DDC while reviewing progress on developmental activities has called for effective steps to accelerate the pace of developmental activities so as to accomplish the targets fixed in the current year’s plan.
He also laid stress on maintaining punctuality and regularity of staff in the government offices and warned that any officer or the official found absent from duty shall have to face disciplinary action as warranted under Civil Services Rules. |
