| Inter-community interface held at Rajouri | | | Early Times Reporter

District Administration, under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, Sheikh Rafiq Ahmed today organized inter-community interface in the Dak Bungalow to instill trust and cement communal amity and brotherhood in the district.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar Yadav was also present on the occasion.
The interaction meet was attended by religious, social and political leaders of both Hindu and Muslim communities in a cordial atmosphere. The prominent leaders present in the meeting resolved to uphold rich traditions of tolerance, peaceful and amicable co-existence and help the district administration to run development programs smoothly.
Addressing the meeting, the DC called upon ‘men of influence’ to use their sway among masses so that peace and communal harmony remains in tact in the district. He appreciated the people of the district for maintaining law and order in the district and appealed them to keep it up in the future also.
He said today’s interactive program aimed at instilling confidence and trust among the diverse communities in such a manner as would be inspirational and worth emulation in the entire state.
Advocate Liaqat Hussain, Nazir Mir (Ex-MLC), Aneem Choudhari, Kuldip Raj Gupta, Vibodh Gupta, Kamal Gupta, Showkat, Kewal Koul, Qamar Choudhari, Bharat Bhushan Vaid ,besides other prominent citizens participated in the interface. |
