Predicting reorganization of the state, Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, JKNPP and Member of National Integration Council (NIC) has said this has become inevitable after 162 years (Treaty of Amritsar) of its formation that shall bring peace, prosperity and reconciliation among the people of Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu which enjoy totally different cultural, linguistic and geographical entities. He said the people of three regions shall get wider opportunities to work in harmony and strengthen State-Centre relations also. Prof. Bhim Singh was addressing a press conference in Hyderabad in connection with a National Seminar on Federalism and New States in India. The Panthers Party Chief while addressing foundation rally of newly created Nav Telangan Praja Party headed by T. Devender Goud (Former Andhra Pradesh Home Minister of TDP) said that people of Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu have learnt a great lesson about the realities and myth of the unnatural union of Jammu and Kashmir. It is Lord Shiva and his land that has opened the eyes of everybody about the concept of equity and justice of the people of Jammu and Kashmir Valley. He said that amendment in Article 370 to reorganize J&K by granting separate Legislative Assemblies to each region without breaking the Federal structure of the state has become inevitable and there lies the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir situation. Each region shall be able to preserve, protect and promote its identity being integral part of the Indian Union within the meaning and scope of the amended Article 370. He said that people of India shall vote the members of Lok Sabha who shall support the proposed amendment in Article 370 under which the Parliament of India shall restore its authority to itself by legislating on all the four subjects which Maharaja Hari Singh, the Ruler of J&K State acceded to the Union of India in October 1947. Prof. Bhim Singh praised the people of Jammu as well as the Kashmiries for upholding the secular unity and brotherhood in spite of provocation, tension and conflicts imposed by ISI and other enemies of India. He demanded a National Commission for ‘Reorganization of the States’ in the light of new situation, new political and social environments in 21st century as the old concept of 1956 for creation of states on language basis has proved failure. He also appointed a Telengana Panthers Committee headed by S.M. Bhatia. |
